The terrain is flat, with the elevation of 3.3m-4.4m above sea level, and under continental temperate continental climate. The annual average temperature is 12.2 degrees and the annual average precipitation is 654m, mainly in the period from June to August. The west side of the mining area is near Jialai Bay, with the width of 200m-400m. The local advanced economy meets the supply of  electricity and labor

 

The main ore of this mineral ore is magnetite, with a small amount of ilmenite, pyrite, and chalcopyrite. The gangue minerals are mainly amphibole, pyroxene, plagioclase, apatite, quartz, lacquered stone, and calcite. The average grade of TFe in ore is 20.12%, with the average mFe of 10.05% and the ratio of mFe / TFe of 50.5%, and thus it is categorized as low grade and weak magnetic ore. The main slagging component is CaO + MgOmFe, with an average of 10.05%, and mFe / TFe ratio of 50.5%, which is categorized as low grade and weak magnetic ore. The ratio of CaO + MgO / SiO2 + Al2O3 is 0.31%, which belongs to acidic ore. The content of harmful components in the ore, S with 0.37% -0.64% and P with 0.014% -0.26%, has no effect on the quality of the ore. No associated beneficial components were found in the ore for comprehensive utilization.

 

A total of 7 ore bodies were found (I-1, I-2, I-3, I-4, I-5, II-1 and II-2), and the ore bodies were lenticular. It is produced in Jingshan wild group. The shape of production and the stratum is basically the same: the northwest - North East, tends to North East - South East, with the inclination of 180-530 angle. Ore bodies are not exposed to the surface, which is the blind ore body. The I-1, I-2, I-3, and II-1 ore bodies are larger and the other ore bodies are smaller.

Progress   A 1: 10000 high-precision magnetic profile of 37.8km was carried out from 2002 to 2003 in this area. In 2004, three boreholes were constructed, the magnetic anomalies were verified, and the iron ore survey was submitted. The work on the basis of previous work, began in February 2007, and ended in April 2008. Take a drilling as the main approach to control the ore body, the main physical workload by now are flowing: 1: 10000 Geological testing 4.12 km2; 1: 2000 terrain geological survey 1.66km2; 1: 5000 high-definition magnetic measurement 1.75km2; 1: 2000 high-precision magnetic measurement 4.12km2; 1: 5000 magnetic profile 37.8km; electrical joint section 3.85km; geological drilling 3935.05m / 18 holes; hydrogeological drilling 516.10 / 2 hole; borehole pumping experiment 2 holes; civil wells survey 26 cases; 184 samples for basic analysis; 1 for complete analysis; 8 for the combination, the experimental class 10/30, 14 for analysis of water quality, other types of samples tested 133. The deposit is of the type III survey, and the amount of resources is estimated from the construction distance of 100m (332). Due to low ore grade, according to the requirements of Provincial and Ministerial Office, Provincial Review Office organized the experts of mineral industry to demonstrate the industrial indicators, all agreed to use industrial indicators (Lu Guo land-resource file [2008] 04): Boundary grade mFe ≥ 8%, the lowest industrial grade mFe ≥ 9%, the minimum recoverable thickness of 1m, clip stone removal thickness of 2 meters, with the geological block method in the horizontal projection map to estimate the amount of resources. The project has obtained the mining permit, all licenses are completed.
