The project is located in the east of Pita province of the Republic of Guinea, Pita’s jurisdiction, 42km away from Pita and about 120km away from capital Conakry.

Overview of the Working area:

• The prospecting area is located in the western margin of Kraton, West Africa.

• It is the coastal late upper Paleozoic depression area in guinea.
• The main structure moves towards NW and NE.

Features of ore bodies:

• Five ore bodies are delineated in the prospecting area.
• Monohydrallite exists in the ferrallitic weathering crust (gossan、red clay) in the exploration area. The seam is simplex and stable. The ore bodies distribute mainly on the middle-upper of low hills or platform of peaks. And their shapes change with the geography.
• It’s estimated that the No.Ⅰ ore body is the biggest one in the prospecting area.

Quality of ores:

From the point view of mineral composition,the surface gossan and underlying iron-red soil layer are composed of gibbsite、hematite、goethite which account for 90% of totals.

In addition, there is a small quantity of diaspore、kaolin、quartz、rutile and etc.
