Mining method   Underground mining
Supporting facilities   - The mining area is linked with rough road, so the transportation here is quite convenient. - Water supply: With 2 wells for drinking and 2 driven wells for mining live. If the water consumption is huge for production, it is need to draw water from the river tens of kilometers away. - Electricity supply: a 110kw hv substation 20km away from the mining area; 2 10,000V transmission lines located in the east and west which are 1.5km to the mining area. There are several roads though out the mining zone, so the transport is very convenient. There are 2 dug wells and 2 motor-pumped wells which provided enough water for life. If production need more water, we can draw water from rivers 10 kilometers away. There are a 110KW high voltage transformer substation 20Km away from the mine as well as two 1000v electric lines in 1.5 Km of the west and east. So the electric power is absolutely enough for use.
Others

The breakage in this area is mainly open and distribute direction are in disorder. The breakage is far away from mine body and don’t have the destructive effect on mine body.

 

Jiabusi Lithiotantite rare ore deposit is located in the center of sunken arched area in Inner Mongolia. It can be divided into several types including albite、tantalum of lepidolite granite mode、niobium lithium、rubidium、caesium deposit. The ore body is 900m length and 1000m in depth which moves from north to south and trend east. The thickness of ore body is 1.07~82.09m, average is 36.91m. It’s a stable form of thickness variation.

Tantalum and niobium mineral is mainly microlitein ore.

Geologic features:

  • According to the industrial type of the deposit, it can be divided to albite, tantalum, niobium-lithium, rubidium, cesium deposit typed of lithionit granite.
  • Ore bodies delineated: 3 of Ta, 13 of Rb.
  • The main ore bodies goes from north to south, trends to east, and the trend angle is 15°. Layered, 900m of length, 1,000m of along hole depth, 1.07-82.09m of thickness (36.91m of the average, 76.98% of the coefficient of variation. Typed quite stable.
  • Elevation of the ore bearing: 1,286-759m.
  • Mine production capacity: annual mining output is 600kt ore extent.

Valid period of the mining right:  06th November 2014---06thNovember 2020

 

  • In the second half of 2007, the work of rare metal mineral prospecting was start. The rudiment of the Jiabusi tantalum-lithium ore body was found out by the 1:10,000 geologic survey and a drill being constructed.

 

  • From July to September of 2010, 7 drills was constructed in the mining area and encryption engineering control was proceed in original working scope.
  • From July to November of 2010, further encryption engineering control in the original working area was carried out. Meanwhile, the border of the ore bodies were controlled that 19 drills were constructed, 1:10,000 of hydrologic survey and hydrology pumping test in the mining area was made.

 

  • The work of mining and beneficiation was never carried out till now after the finish of the detail exploration of the project mine.
